The Contracting Solutions Group Ltd

The Contracting Solutions Group is an internationally renowned £60m business consultancy with offices in London, Lincoln, Manchester, Cheltenham and Birmingham. The group offers a wide range of "people solutions" to an impressive portfolio of blue chip clients.

Contained within the group are a number of companies specialising in different areas, and while these already had a highly developed corporate image and detailed web sites, there was no group website to tie the component companies together.

We produced a solution that not only acts as a portal for the individual company sites, but which also dynamically takes on the individual corporate branding of the sites as the user reads information on the selected company.

Section 1 - Group Overview

The first purpose of the site was to provide an overview of the group as a whole, before delving into specifics about the functions of the various companies in the group.
The company wanted a look that better portrayed the image of a serious multinational company.
The overview clearly defines position of the group, and the companies from which it is comprised. Contact information for the group is clearly displayed, as well as a quick link to email the group and its companies.

Section 2 - Individual Companies

As the user moves their cursor over the various company names, not only the content, but also the colour scheme, general branding and contact details change accordingly.
Despite having the different companies dynamically displayed on the same page, efficient design has left the loading times are very small - with the whole page loading within seconds.
Displaying the group in this manner strengthens the connections between the individual companies and clearly sets out what part they have to play in the group.

Conclusion

The Contracting Solutions Group page has helped develop the corporate image of the companies in the group, and the group as a whole. Soon the group page will be promoted in its own right - providing a much more cost effective marketing solution than just marketing all of the separate company sites individually.

The group now has a firm base to promote its services from a central position. The site accurately details the role of each of the different companies in the group, and firmly complements the existing branding of the companies in the group.
